Andrew Brassard’s crew at the Milton (Ontario) FD did a little confined space training the other night.  They did something different by standing a section of culvert upright and setting up a ladder gin evolution.

If your scenario doesn’t have overhead rigging options and there is nowhere for the tripod; what are you going to do?  Below are the pictures from the training.  Low tech and it works.
