Serious School Bus Rear-Ending In Toledo

(Toledo News Now) Several people were injured, one seriously, after a car hit a school bus on Douglas Road near Grantwood Drive in west Toledo around 7 a.m. Monday.
Police say a car driven by a 17-year-old crashed into the back of a Toledo Public Schools bus stopped to pick up a student. The bus was carrying three people, including a student.

Everyone on the bus only suffered minor injuries. The driver of the car was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Truck Slams Into School Bus In Swanton, OH
(Toledo News Now) A truck ran a red light and hit a school bus with students on board Monday morning in Swanton, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at the intersection of Airport Highway and Main Street in Swanton. Several students were on board the Swanton Public Schools bus at the time of the crash. Swanton Superintendent Jeff Schlade says some students and the bus driver suffered injuries in the crash, but none were seriously hurt. Schlade says the injuries consisted of bruises and scrapes.
