Yesterday was a great morning for a run in Sandusky, OH. A few of us ran in the Stein Hospice 5k that was basically an out and back course along the Sandusky Bay and downtown. Many of us know the value Stein Hospice provides to people and their families in times of grieving. We were glad to be a part of the run in memory of those that have gone before us.

I ran in the 5k for Ella this past Saturday in Norwalk, OH.  It was a charity fundraiser for Ella Enderby’s family to help with expenses during Ella’s treatment of leukemia.  There was a great turnout and the weather was perfect.  Check out the benefit page on Facebook or if you would like to give a donation send it to: ...

This Saturday we will be running in the SSG Jon Martin Memorial 5k/10k in Bellevue, Ohio. Registration ends at 0830 and the run/walk starts at 0900.

We all were honored to lace up our shoes for Toledo's Bravest that died in the line of duty January 26, 2014. This was a big race with thousands of runners and spectators all over the course. Toledo sure was strong and well.

The first due racing team will be kicking off the season with two races this week.

Badges of Honor 5k schedules for the BGSU State Fire School week in Bowling Green, OH. May 14 at 6 pm. Great week of training and a quick Wednesday evening run. Come join us.

Part of the motivation for the PD guys is when firefighters take off running first while carrying a box of donuts and on the flip side the PD guys put recliners at the finish line for us firefighters. All kidding aside; I hope you find some motivation in the new logo.

We ran this morning in honor of fallen firefighters Jamie Dickman and Steve Machcinski.

We will be running/walking with or without turnout gear / SCBA to the Erie County Firefighters Memorial for a moment of silence, then running back to the fire station.
