Badges of Honor 5k schedules for the BGSU State Fire School week in Bowling Green, OH. May 14 at 6 pm. Great week of training and a quick Wednesday evening run. Come join us.

Part of the motivation for the PD guys is when firefighters take off running first while carrying a box of donuts and on the flip side the PD guys put recliners at the finish line for us firefighters. All kidding aside; I hope you find some motivation in the new logo.

Three of us raced in the HFP Racing Vermilion triathlon / duathlon yesterday. The weather was perfect and Lake Erie settled down from the night before for a nice swim.

We are just getting started with multiple races slatted for this year. Ultimately, we are supporting the National Firefighters Endowment and the mission to help firefighters and fire departments in need.

Last weekend several of us competed in the Revolution 3 Cedar Point triathlon that tested varying degrees of endurance. Does this type of endurance translate into endurance on the fireground? You bet it does.
