A cement mixer punched through a parking deck. The Toms River TRT responded to shore the deck prior to a crane lifting the mixer out.

We all were honored to lace up our shoes for Toledo's Bravest that died in the line of duty January 26, 2014. This was a big race with thousands of runners and spectators all over the course. Toledo sure was strong and well.

Over the last two days there have been two serious school bus crashes. No city, town, village is immune to these crashes. The school bus in the First Due Tackle logo is a constant reminder to prepare for these incidents.

A bunch of us are tapering for the Glass City Marathon in Toledo, Ohio this Sunday. FF Hackenburg is running the full marathon in gear and a pack while most of our First Due Racing team is running the half marathon.

Serious crash where car under-rides school bus in Colorado this morning.

The 2014 version of FDIC has come and gone. I had the chance to meet some new friends and connect with some old ones. If you haven't made it to FDIC be sure to put in on your list for 2015.

This past Thursday we kicked off our racing season at the Courage and Valor 5k at FDIC. Before I could get home this morning some other brothers ran in the Humane Society 5k in Sandusky, OH.
