Part of the motivation for the PD guys is when firefighters take off running first while carrying a box of donuts and on the flip side the PD guys put recliners at the finish line for us firefighters. All kidding aside; I hope you find some motivation in the new logo.

Darrell Fitch from Fire Medic Art and Fireman Up is almost done with our new fitness logo. Color and computerization this week.

We ran this morning in honor of fallen firefighters Jamie Dickman and Steve Machcinski.

We will be running/walking with or without turnout gear / SCBA to the Erie County Firefighters Memorial for a moment of silence, then running back to the fire station.

The weather in northern Ohio has been cold, windy, snowy and full of crashes.  We’ve seen and heard about school buses off the road, semi trailers sideways, and multi-car wrecks.  Below are a few pictures.  Remember to stay alert on the roadways for vehicles sliding your way.  It does take time to shut the road down and/or divert traffic. 2014 is setting up to be an even better year with more guys getting out of the recliner or for our LE friends, out of the donut shop to move a little more.

The weather in Northern Ohio was snowy and windy for the 2013 Santa Hustle. FF Brian Hackenburg set out to break the Guinness World Recod for faster 1/2 marathon in a firefighters uniform, but came up short.
