Getting the Griphoist back in the box is a bigger challenge than operating it.  It’s kind of like a jack-in-the-box.

The video below is a short instructional video on how to load the wire rope, operate the mechanisms, and remove the wire rope.  It can be a finger pincher, so have a good understanding of the pressures applied to the locking lever.  For storage leave the locking lever in a position so pressure isn’t always on the spring and gears.
